They see civil war because the Dems are likely to lose if they don’t get to cheat enough. If the Dems lose, the deep state will fund blm, antifa and more to riot everywhere. That would be enough friction to cause more Rittenhouse like responses.

Match to fuel.

You are correct. What needs to be stated, is Rittenhouse’s acquittal essentially green-lighted the average citizen the right to insert oneself into riots and shoot to kill without fear of a murder conviction. All the city officials have to do is sell kill tags as done for deer hunting to give their blessing.

” If the Dems lose, the deep state will fund blm, antifa and more to riot everywhere.”

If the GOP wins the House in 2022, it will control the power of the purse, should it decide to do so. It can end the current practice of passing multi trillion dollar spending bills with billions of dollars of discretionary spending given to agencies. How about a budget process whereby each department submits a budget to Congress, the appropriations committee actually employs oversight cutting programs and activities which are not working and cutting out the billions in discretionary spending as well as the billions funneled to social justice organizations? Real oversight and real cuts.

But going back to fiscal discipline will result in government shutdowns? Not if the House stands firm. If the appropriations committees, and the House, pass appropriations bills with spending essential for the functioning of the departments if the Senate refuses to approve, or the Senate approves and the President vetos the bill, the House should hold firm. Tell the president and the Senate if they want additional funds for projects or programs not included they can have a House member introduce a bill for that specific purpose as a supplemental appropriation. That bill will then be reviewed by the appropriate committees and voted on by the House as a whole.

We cannot restore the Republic until we restore a discipline budget process with smaller appropriations bills. Smaller appropriations bills result in accountability. The way it is with the gargantuan spending bills is Congresscritters tell us they had no choice to vote for the monster bill or the government would be shut down.

And as in 1860, the marker is an election, and everyone sees it coming. Quite the conundrum, as the results of a fair election would inflame the left, and the results of an unfair one may unleash the right. And doubt about the veracity of the results could inflame both sides.
