Build the wall
Build a maze that extends for a thousand feet into our border. At the end of each path, install a non-functional water spigot. Might not stop illegals, but will be amusing to watch via security cameras as they struggle with thirst. The only path with an exit leads back to Mexico and a water spigot with salty water. Hey our gov't does nothing, so I can dream can't I?
