Former President Trump blasted Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing the former Israeli prime minister of disloyalty while using profanity to criticize the former ally for his congratulatory message to President Biden in the wake of the 2020 election results, according to an Axios report.
Trump touted that he helped Netanyahu, now the opposition leader in Israel, in his own election efforts, reversed decades of U.S. policy in Israel's favor, and supported Israel's claim to land that was seized in war, while continuing to incorrectly claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him, reports The Associated Press.
"The first person that congratulated [Biden] was Bibi Netanyahu, the man that I did more for than any other person I dealt with. ... Bibi could have stayed quiet. He has made a terrible mistake," Trump said, according to Axios, as Trump referred to Netanyahu by his nickname.

Yup. Unforced error by Israel. They had a great, great ally and they just rushed out to immediately kiss the ass of the new president he hates them. Why?
Trump has learned - as so many Republicans have failed to learn - that Israel always looks out for #1. It is how they survive in a bad neighborhood, but it severely limits their utility as an ally.
Yeah, I agree, even though I like Netanyahu.
Those last couple of lines though. That’s some pretty bold talk that won’t sit well with the people of Israel.
Unless Axios can produce audio I’ll file this under bullsh*t with most of the crap coming from The Hill.
No doubt Trump is sore at Netanyahu but I believe the “eff him” was thrown in by the reporter for effect.
IF this is a correct statement from Trump....
....it’s always according to.....someone else
I would want this verified
“That’s some pretty bold talk ...”
And profane. I can see a campaign ad by opponents showing an assortment of him using the f-word and other obscenities. Won’t help his cause. His crudeness and related behavior lost him the last election.
Based on other posts here it doesn’t seem to bother most. Oh well.
That's the very point of being a nation -- looking out for your own people. Every country does this or should do this. America is falling short these days.
To your post: Patton
Once Israel realized that they had no choice but to deal with 4 more years (at least) of a Jew-hating party in office in the US, they really had no choice but to try to make the best of it. As someone else here has said - that is how they survive.
while continuing to incorrectly claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him
Now there is a blatant example of AP bias. I’ll NEVER believe that the 2020 election was not fraudulently decided. Only remedy now is to decimate the Dems in 2024 and beyond, but since they have perfected the art of the steal beyond anyone’s imagination with the acquiescence of the courts and the press America may be doomed to socialistic decline! Pray for your children’s and grandchildren’s America.
It’s not like Axios hasn’t filed false reports about Trump before. BS news source.
Apparently, this wasn’t a public comment, just DJT (allegedly) expressing his frustration in private. It’s not surprising that Trump (or anyone else in his position) would say that — and not really surprising that Netanyahu would do that. If you get elected because people don’t trust politicians, don’t trust politicians.
I guess some folks haven’t figured out what DJT is made of, you mess with the bull and you get the horns.

Trump can win again if he wages an issue oriented campaign, rather that a campaign based on personal attacks and Brandon-like slogans that please only his base. This is how Youngkin took back Virginia. Trump’s got a lot of great issues, including vote cheating.
Bibi waited a long time to congratulate Biden. Many other countries did it faster. Still, pdjt is correct that the election was obviously stolen. So, I empathize with him. Whether he really should have told Bibi to GTH now? Imho, no. Unfair to singly Bibi out from the crowd for such insult. But again, the damned election was a farce and pdjt is right to be upset from it. I’m upset from it too
You won’t find much sympathy for your viewpoint here. They are anxious to repeat the same mistakes.
Of course, Trump is right. Again.
Bibi backed the stolen election. F’ Bibi.
