A prosecutor says the parents of a teen accused of killing four students at a Michigan high school were summoned a few hours earlier after a teacher found a drawing of a gun, a person bleeding and the words “help me.”
Oakland County prosecutor Karen McDonald made the disclosure Friday as she filed involuntary manslaughter charges against Jennifer and James Crumbley, the parents of 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley.
McDonald says the gun used in the shootings at Oxford High School was purchased by James Crumbley a week ago and given to the boy.

Quite a stretch. This kid has issues and the parents let him have access to guns. They are responsible.
Depends. Did the kid steal the car or did the parents give him access to the car. Now use that logic in this case.
What, specifically? I see nothing other than requirements for dealers to sell cases and locks, and requiring training for safe storage, but no laws or penalties for not having a gun or ammo locked up.

The parents said they would turn themselves in this morning. Now, the cops and their lawyer cannot reach them.
I suppose that will help their case proving they are reasonable, thoughtful, logical responsible parents.

In fact, if there is any deviation by the state from ABSOLUTE Equal Protection Under The Law, it IS a Soviet Show Trial.
Show Trial status has no relation to guilt of the accused, the severity of the acts or the character of the accused.
I have not proffered opinions on the guilt, innocence, factuality of evidence, or testimony of anyone involved.
Everything you write about the accused and his parents may be true and this is still a Soviet Show Trial if everyone accused as responsible doesn't get ABSOLUTE Equal Protection Under The Law.

I’m with you on that but there are a lot of crazies out there these days infecting a lot of the conservative movement who will play it like this: … A) tin foil conspiratorially call this a Reichstag false flag, B) indirectly stand up for the parents and C) worst of all, in thread after thread, post after post, express little to no sadness, solace, commemoration or empathy for the massacred kids themselves. It’s getting sick out there.
Me? I’m thinking of that one football player who rush that shooter and gave his life to save quite a number of the other of them. His picture in his uniform haunts me

So I guess you thought Rittenhouse was appropriately charged in spite of the self defense seen in the videos, available to all the day he was charged.
No, he shouldn't have been charged, but he was found not guilty and that was appropriate.
