I hope you you don’t mind if we “migrate” across the border into Wisconsin some day, we’ve been thinking about it for a while…
I promise no left wing BS, this state is so screwed up, and I just know that Illinois’ taxes are gonna go up when the Bears build a new stadium. Chicago isn’t gonna pay for it, WE ARE. Whatever Chicago wants, Chicago gets.
We have friends that farm in RURAL (Winchester) Illinois. It’s a whole ‘nother world down there but they, too, get screwed by Chicago on a regular basis.
Kinda hard to leave a place that’s been in your family for generations, though. They just bite the bullet and keep on keepin’ on.
And you are MORE than welcome in Wisconsin. We have a lot of IL, MN & MI ‘refuges’ living here. ;)
