They're all violent, religious right extremists, out to secede. The proof is that Aryan Nation used to headquarter around there, and they're religious extremists because they're religious.

Who cares if it’s true? The communists have redoubts like California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, New England, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, etc. All one party states where the worst among them operate with impunity and normal Americans are held to strict compliance to every policy, rule, and law.
Our side has to live somewhere.
The idea itself is not a bad idea. Arguably Texas and South Carolina are conservative redoubts. Georgia used to be. Whether or not this Pacific NW thing is one is another question. The fact that the Democrats who are used to controlling the community colleges are so bent out of shape because their candidates lost is encouraging. “These are non-partisan positions, and the politics of the candidates shouldn’t matter, so we wanted our non-partisan post-holders to win, not theirs!” was music to my ears.
“secessionist nutbags”
What’s that? Wanting to secede from a country that has literally been taken over by Communists is being a “nutbag”?
When ANTIFA came to Couer d’Alene in the summer of 2020 they were met by 5000 armed people. They were escorted through town, got to wave their little black flags, and they were politely asked to leave.
Those people are “nutbags”?
There’s a lot of them on this forum.
PS - if you wanna buy some nice real estate in the Redoubt, start here:
The Evil Americans of the lovely redoubt even have real estate offices. Whatta concept!
But things are really expensive now, because EVERYONE with a brain wants to live there.
James Wesley Rawles can be credited with this concept...
Everyone should read about AR...an excellent approach to living and preparing for the unexpected...!
These leftest documentary are very entertaining. It is like a window into their THC induced paranoid brain. Frankly, my 4 year old’s nightmare are more realistic.
In the Pacific Northwest, members of survivalist movements are growing in number (chicago tribune)
You don't have to go far outside of the SF Bay Area to start to see red.
Just the other day (some miles outside of SF) I saw my first "Let's Go Brandon!" flags displayed, alongside Old Glory, in front of a couple of residences.
In that same locale, saw JB "I did that!" stickers on a gas pump. Three stickers on one pump.
A bunch of conservatives became disenchanted with how progressives have taken over California - and probably Oregon - and relocated to communities in northern Idaho.
They organized and began implementing the Democrat playbook by injecting like-minded individuals into local government and school boards. The local Dims became enraged because they could no longer implement their progressive ideology in the local government and schools. True to their nature, the Dims resorted to making blind accusations of White Supremacy and domestic terrorism.
End of story.
Thanks for posting. This will never happen but at least I already inside the border.
The motto here is: don't start none, won't be none.
“white Mercedes tradesmans vans”
Yeah. That seems to be the standard Regressive Commutard attack van. Saw one in Bozeman the other day with a pair of well decorated insurrectionists and California plates.
They looked kinda outta place with all the P/U trucks sporting “Impeach Biden / Then Harris” bumper stickers.
For sure - and half (or more) of the "Aryan Nation" bunch were FBI agents/informants. So who's really responsible for that 'violent extremism'?
;>)
Used to be the KGB that would put out “documentaries” like this. Anyone remember “Voici l’Amerique”?
Now our own lefties do the work for them. The KGB’s investment in American universities has to have one of the greatest returns in history.
Don’t think the decision is that hard.
They’re nutbags.
“Those people are “nutbags”?”
Actually, while I understand the impulse, yes. Such people, assuming they exist in Couer d’Alene, would be nut-bags in the full sense of the word. In 1861, you could secede from the Union for whatever reason, and be more or less ok one way or another.
In a nuclear age, on a global stage, it’s impossible and possibly suicidal. China would snatch up one part of the globe and enslave everyone. Russia would snatch up the other and do crooked deals for Putin’s cronies. Then they would turn their attention to each other and America. It would not be pretty, and the people in Couer d’Alene looking for a tranquil life far from a centralized, tyrannical government, would remember that dream fondly as they worked in the salt mines under the whip of their overlords, who might speak Chinese or Russian.
Or it could all just end in a cascade of mushroom clouds.
Nah, that’s nonsense.
You think the safety of the planet is dependent on being in a confederation with New York and California? Seriously?
A self governed autonomous region would still have ties to the rest of “America”, which is rapidly becoming “Mexico Norte”. So if the need existed, alliance for common defense would still be on the table. Britain just left the EU, and the world didn’t end.
As for nooks, who the hell do you think invented them? Aboriginals? I had relatives at Los Alamos.
An autonomous region in the Northern Intermountain West would do just fine. My family settled those mountains as we settled the deserts of Arizona and Southern California over a century and a half ago.
If the Bolsheviks in DC ever wanted to dismantle their New Deal bureaucracy and give up on the idea of a federal currency backed by a federal tax, maybe we could talk again. But those same deranged people want to elect a new people, as Brecht said about the DDR government.
But like 1860s Northerners, they seem to believe they have a right to determine the character and policies of States they have nothing to do with. Whether they have a good reason for that (like ending chattel slavery) or bad reasons (like diluting the white population into a hated minority), it’s not a good thing either way. The States are regions that should determine their own future.
The Swiss Federation will soon be voting on whether the vax mandates are to be retained. Their union features a very weak central government whose shenanigans can be nullified by popular vote. Imagine that. And now imagine a region of America where that could happen. Hell, imagine all of “America” being like that.
We wouldn’t have to rap about secession.
“You think the safety of the planet is dependent on being in a confederation with New York and California? Seriously?”
Seriously. Two words: Nuclear bombs.
Or as Tom Lehrer wrote to his “mommy” when he went off to bag a commie: “I’ll look for you when the war is over, an hour and a half from now!”
Yes, New York and California are up to no good. And the thing to do is defeat them, not run away and try to get on without them. It won’t be happening. If Lincoln had a nuclear bomb, it wouldn’t make a rat’s a$$ of difference how good a general Robert E. Lee was. In this much, Foe Jiden is right.
So what’s to be done? Guerilla warfare of a non-symmetrical kind. He can’t nuke Washington DC or New York or LA, and if deplorables are engaged there in civil disobedience, general strikes of the sort that are materializing over the jab mandate, and riots are being quelled—not be emasculated police forces with their hands tied by local mayors—but by armed citizens defending their homes from rooftops and alleyways, and if coyotes smuggling invaders with cute faces and sh!tloads of Fentinol and sex slaves get shot dead before they can bring their charges into US territory (the above list of options have occurred to me personally, but feel free to add and modify), then Foe can take his F-14s and nuclear bombs and shove them right up his own a$$.
Or, you can go hide out in Idaho like an ostrich and hope that Foe isn’t in the pay of the Chicoms and isn’t inviting them in to finish you and yours off.
“No man is an island” indeed.
