Belgium has confirmed a case of the new, heavily mutated variant of the virus that causes Covid-19, according to one of the country’s leading virologists.
Marc Van Ranst, who works with the Rega Institute for Medical Research, said a sample was confirmed as the novel B.1.1.529 variant in a traveler who returned from Egypt on Nov. 11. The patient first showed symptoms on Nov. 22.
Belgium is home to the capital of the European Union in Brussels.
The variant was first detected in a small number of samples in South Africa, according to the World Health Organization. There were also reports on Friday morning that cases had been found in Israel and Hong Kong.

Even if the virus came from China, you can't blame China for its destructive effect. The West caused the real damage (wrecked economy, lost liberties, election fraud) with our lockdowns and stimulus spending.
The virus was a problem. Our response made it into a crisis.
You certainly ask some good questions. And if, and when, we get answers, they will be all over the place and we’ll be lost in the fog - still and again.
Is this nu news? Is nu news good news or bah humbug news? How many nu’s does it take to fear monger a covid cultist?
Is this part of the nu world order or the nu great reset?

If you can't see that this virus is being used to control the masses with fear then you are blind. We (America) didn't even get this crazy during the polio crisis. Now the powers that be, worldwide but especially in America, have found the key to subdue the Americans...the fat, spoiled, domesticated, American.
The questions come to mind because of how the reporting is managed. This variant was described in very dark terms... ‘horrible, cataclysmic’ etc, yet none of the reports say whether any have died from this variant or just how sick people are becoming and differences between vaxx’d and not vaxx’ed... So those questions need some answers.
The “2022 Election Variant.” And the only thing to do to save us is to mandate universal mail in ballots.

Do you mean like Italy lied and lied about how many deaths were actually due to COVID and they had to reduce those numbers by like 97%? Good luck with with doing any of those comparisons when the data you get will be garbage.

WRONG. China may not be responsible for all the harm but they SURE AS HELL are responsible for a large portion of it.
Actually flu epidemics are followed when there is an especially virulent strain.. Even when it’s a dud, if you remember the swine flu back in ‘75. The Russian flu( 1977) was the last I caught that put me in bed. I don’t think we should obsess in an unhealthy way over these variants but neither should we put our heads in the sand. I’m more curious about how this is reported and how people react to that reporting.. it’s a curiosity.
To the extent the so-called “vaccine” even behaves as one by being so narrowly targeted it probably acts like a sieve, and helps to foster mutations.
Is there actually a “new variant”? Or are people just being TOLD there is?

We’re overdue for an asteroid impact.
1) Botswanna doesn’t give a damn about US midterm elections. Neither does South Africa.
2) I’m actually curious about the threshold. If this variant kills say, 40% of all infected, with say a 20% of population infection profile, of all ages, would the phrase fear porn still splash across FreeRepublic? Probably not. But I’m gonna guess a 40% kill of 5% of the population might be low enough to generate “FEAR PORN” messages. That’s 6.6 million snide Fear Porn. 13 million . . . mouths shut.
3) As you read the stories emerging, keep in mind this stuff was known about weeks ago. They tell us nothing when they learn of it. Only when information leaks do they go public.
