What a big bunch of B.S.
I’m black and I don’t require or want any such patronizing.
I consider it rather insulting and pretentious.
It only creates more division and embarrasses both parties.
Somebody in administration has really swallowed the bait and drank the koolaid. Those somebody’s need to go.
I was raised on the words of MLK. In my childhood I was taught to keep my natural born colorblindness. I was raised in LA and exposed to many cultures and races. My grandmother , white, raised in the south, once asked me, age 9 or so, after some driver cut her off on the road, “Did you see the driver??”
I said yes.
She then asked “Was he black or white????” I responded that I didn’t remember. She completely flipped out. She tried to find out what race he was but it didn’t stick with me. That was when I first noticed people seemed to care about this stuff.
I raised my kids this way too. I believe we would be a happier nation if we went MLK on this and attempted colorblindness. Focus on our similarities and not our differences. Your BEHAVIOR alone should determine how well you are treated.
It happened to a Jewish charity that moved to the Washington DC area.
It was a very conservative and Zionist group that became just another racist arm of the Democrat party.
