Biden White House Again Gives the Courts the Middle Finger Over COVID Vaccine Mandate

I know the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict and the days following the 2021 elections sort of overtook the news cycle, the former story especially, but we still have this mess with the COVID vaccine mandate brewing. Yes, Democrats were licking their wounds after Election Day 2021, while also blaming white supremacy for their overall abysmal showing—but Biden's mandate is still an ongoing battle. Yes, the courts put a stop to its implementation and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is no longer working on its enforcement protocols for the mandate, but the Biden White House is once again telling companies to defy the courts last week (via The Hill):

For the second time in a month, the White House on Thursday urged large businesses to move forward with coronavirus vaccine mandates for their workforces despite court challenges to the Biden administration’s vaccine-or-test requirement for private companies.

“Our message to businesses right now is to move forward with measures that will make their workplaces safer and protect their workforces from COVID-19,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters during a briefing. “That was our message after the first stay issued by the Fifth Circuit. That remains our message and nothing has changed.”

Psaki’s comments came after the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) said it would suspend enforcement of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for businesses after a federal appeals court reaffirmed its decision to suspend the mandate.

Psaki said … that the administration remains confident that it has the authority to issue the rule, known as an emergency temporary standard, which requires businesses with more than 100 employees to require that their employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit to regular testing for the virus.

Psaki also said the administration was still working off the Jan. 4 deadline ..

Well, the companies aren't defying the court. The court didn't say mandates were illegal, they just said OSHA can't order them, at least not using the 'emergency' procedure they were using. The companies can still legally create mandates on their own. Now Biden is really walking the line, 'encouraging' companies to do it when he has been ruled unable to compel them to do so, but it isn't defiance (just stupid) if they do it anyway.

The good news is, since it can't be legally enforced but can still be done at the company level, this will sort out all the woke companies and woke job-seekers and put them on a path to failure, while the good companies can compete for good (non-stupid non-woke) employees simply by minding their own business. PLUS, it de facto excludes the weenies and Karens who won't want to work in a filthy unvaxxed environment (even the tyranny-free aspect probably puts them off). So you can hire in a competitive market and the weenies you don't want to hire anyway filter THEMSELVES out of the pool!!! This is like a dream come true in one way.

Who do you value more. Money and bitme’s dictatorship, or your employees right to choose? That simple.

Yeah, seems most casinos are requiring the shot or weekly tests. Some at employees cost.

Ask yourselves why & whose ordering it? Fauci, Soros, Gates, Obama, CCP? Sounds like they haven’t destroyed enough businesses yet; haven’t destroyed enough of the US military yet; & haven’t destroyed enough lives including future lives. Doesn’t differ from Hitler’s Germany IMO.

If he’s slightly obese then he should get the vaccine. If he’s skinny, then I would say he wouldn’t need it.

The only time you get any sense of ‘emergency’ is when you turn on TV and hear from politicians. Enabled by the media they live in an echo chamber thinking that everyone still believes them - and because of that they can overreach their authority and be tyrants.

...and have no idea how transparent it all is to most of us.

It’s only going to work with a new confederation of states. And I think some of them have learned something.

Biden would be perfectly happy to nuke Americans, but I’m hoping saner heads would intervene. If there are any.

“Tell them to F off. Can you financially do so?”

Expect companies, even small ones like RainMan’s to fall in line directly, or indirectly with the unconstitutional mandate. It’s $$$. If the givernment unconstitutionally allowed companies to sell their employees like slaves, businesses would do it.

I’d bet some companies (via fat-boy DC trade associations) helped “write” the regulation. For example - cost of weekly testing = not mandated to be paid by the employer. Funny that employer misses that cost, not.

The irony of this givernment needs workers to pay taxes. The givernment is going to cause millions of workers to lose their jobs. This will have a negative effect on an economy that is struggling with inflation and shortages. Reduced receipts has no impact on what the givernment will print and spend, only making matters worse. The risk is that people will opt for the Venzuela solution.

"emergency temporary standard"

When is the emergency temporary standard over?

When it is can I get un-vaccinated?

No?

Pizz off, Psaki.

I’m still surprised she polled so poorly.
Female, minority, Veteran, well spoken, and occasionally being reasonable.
It’s probably the last quality that killed her...

If you're a Commie, those last three kill any chance you have.
If you're Conservative, that last one simply doesn't overcome the rest of the time when she doesn't have good ideas.
If you're Establishment/Deep, she just wasn't nearly as good a puppet as several other candidates.

known as an emergency temporary standard

The "standard" may be temporary, but the firing of the employee is permanent.
