A car ran through the middle of the Waukesha Christmas Parade Sunday evening, leaving multiple people injuries, according to a reporter on scene.
Multiple people are on the ground injured, the reporter tweeted around 4:40 p.m.
There is a heavy police presence downtown.
The parade runs through the downtown area of Waukesha.

Dancing Grannies are very famous in Wisco. They are a bunch of old retired ladies that dance. Much like the color guard dancers in front of a marching band. You can tell they are out there for health and to show they still got ‘it’. Truly a gem of a group.

I read on the fast moving Twitter feed that this was a car that was speeding away from police for some other reason and drove into the parade. Not sure they knew what they were doing other than trying to evade police. Take it for what it’s worth, but it almost makes sense.

I heard on one report that the driver of the SUV drove around a police car that was blocking a street for the parade.
