Officials are trying to understand why some of LA's highest coronavirus case rates are currently in communities with high vaccination rates.

Same way with countries with highest vax rates. Gibraltar with 100% vax rate is cancelling Christmas due to Covid concerns. There has to be a common denominator there somewhere but it eludes us.

Maybe the vaccines suppress symptoms but actually incubate the virus rather than destroying it? Maybe the vaccines inhibit herd immunity? Four of my grandchildren recently contracted Covid despite both sets of parents being vaccinated. In fact, three of the four parents also contracted Covid. (Fortunately, call cases were minor.)

This isn't what is supposed to be happening. Speaking of herd immunity, nobody even seems to be talking about it as a GOAL any more. Why is that?

Apparently, this is what we are seeing right now and when it comes to pass amongst others, we will also see mutation show up. Some of them may not amount to much, while others will show up which will be difficult to deal with, and quite possible cause many casualties.
