Life is a big IQ and EQ test, no matter how much other may try to meddle to prevent that.
Democrats come up with new ways every day to convince us that wypipo and asians are supreme in some way. But rather than boosting people up, they tear everybody and everything down
Bob Schaeffer, executive director of FairTest: National Center for Fair & Open Testing. “UC already is and increasingly will become a national model for test-free admissions.”
Knowledge of CRT, gender pronouns, community activism, democrat voting record, and other woke criteria will be used to keep up the highest standard of admission of any college.
Still its all part of the war on merit ! The radical egalitarian idea that everyone must be exactly equal at all times ! If there’s equal access there must be equal outcomes if there isn’t its racist !(Except in sports somehow that’s exempt !)
The answer is elementary. Formulate a SAT test using Ebonics.
“The “problem” of course is that blacks and Hispanics under perform whites and Asians on all standardized tests. Studies have found that those tests are not biased in the sense of under predicting the performance of blacks and Hispanics in college.
The article says high school grades will be used. Of course they should be a factor, but grading standard vary across schools. A school where all the student are weak is not going to flunk everyone. Even within a school, teachers’ grading standards can vary widely.”
5 years ago one of our DIL’s went from a moderate politically to a strong conservative.
Her daughter/our grand daughter was being graduated from an excellent private Jr/Senior high school. This young woman had made one b in her high school and the rest were A’s
This brilliant young woman wanted to become a RN like her grandmother, an aunt by marriage and an older mentor.
She was basically turned down from California RN schools due to that one B. Our DIL challenged this BS and was basically told that was tough.
We advised them to apply to out of state/non California RN schools.
Every school they applied to accepted her. One top east coast program not only accepted her, she got a $25K scholarship per year for her 4 year program versus the 7 year B$ programs in California.
She was graduated this year with highest honors and went to work for a great hospital back east, which had hired her as a future RN for two summers and one year before she was graduated. She passed the national test for RNs and now an official RN at the same hospital.
Oregone has passed a law stating that high school graduates in Oregone do not have to pass math, English or anything to get a diploma.
That will probably become a California law in the next 3-4 years. Based on past reality, that will probably mean no math/science/Stem courses will be required to go to a California RN school. Race will be the determining factor.
Thanks for posting your excellent reality re California’s so called advance education.
Below is a link to what has been happening for years in California as experienced by one of our grand kids.

Next, Cali. must get rid of the state bar exam, CPA exams, engineer certifications, medical board exams, etc., etc. All those also discriminate against the unqualified.
Californicator land is probably working on when to do what you have posted.
Precisely.
The proper response is for companies to shoot for a UC graduate-free workforce.
“As Charles Murray and the formerly legitimate APA use to acknowledge, IQ is mostly related to your DNA, then the health of your mother prior to, during and after pregnancy, and if there is a father in the household.”
I had to laugh, not at you but at my new unread Charles Murray hard cover book, “In Pursuit of Happiness and Good Government.”
It is next on my non Kindle reading list.
This is wonderful news. Now we can go back to celebrity parents paying graft to get their marginally intelligent children into school. /s
“Pretty soon you are going to need a GPA of 11 on a scale of 0-4 to get into UC.”
Maybe higher if you are Asian or have white racist parents.
And learn ebonics
Bingo!
From the article: "...faculty could find no alternative exam that would avoid the biased results that led leaders to scrap the SAT last year."
It is just one of the many intended results of the push for "diversity", which is used as a vehicle for restructuring (weakening) of our culture and civic institutions. Not at all surprising that this was initiated by Janet Napolitano.
Another step in the long arch to destroy America.
this is why we have low IQ minorities on TV spouting off nonsensical rants. They all have a college degree, I’m sure.
This can also be faked, easily.
There will be an entire industry that arises to "aid" students in creating a portfolio, just as there is in aiding them with the SAT.
Regards Bon
If the college is truly seeking bright students, it’s admissions coordinators will also be bright and understand how to conduct interviews with prospective students and review portfolios.
Honestly, it’s ok to remember academia before the SAT ruled everything. If standardized tests really improved education, it certainly isn’t being reflected if we now have graduate programs where, once again,, race and gender are the overwhelming criteria.
SAT scores are just an easier path for admissions. It’s a number to use and quicker than going through each prospective student and reviewing his /her body of work presented.
The origins of the SAT test cannot be denied. Carl Brigham was a eugenicist who wanted to design what he hoped would prove Jews were intellectually inferior as a race.
If one wants to use a test score as a baseline for student proficiency, the ACT makes much more sense since it is actually a contextual exam.
Having something to strive for brings out the best in people. India & China’s gain, America is again scrod by the left.
