White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told the media the Biden administration wants businesses to “move” forward with the COVID vaccine mandate. The OSHA suspended the mandate pending litigation.

REPORTER: “Given this update, is the administration still urging businesses to move forward with the President’s vaccine and weekly testing rule? And are you still working off of that January 4 compliance deadline?”
PSAKI: “We are. Let me be very clear, our message to businesses right now is to move forward with measures that will make their workplaces safer and protect them, their workforces from Covid-19. That was our message after the first day issued by the Fifth Circuit. That remains our message and nothing has changed. I would note that recent polling, I think that just came out yesterday, showed that 60 percent of businesses are moving forward with measures that keep their workplace safe.”
The OSHA quietly suspended the mandate, which requires businesses with 100 employees to require the COVID vaccine.
The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay on the mandate. It doesn’t take a constitutional scholar to know that Biden’s order to force a vaccine mandate on companies is unconstitutional.

Well I’ve considered both cases. Where I work (no details) there are other potential downsides to the latter. It may just be easier to walk away.
Because in their view there is no constitution preventing them....or those willing to stop them.
Businesses with federal contracts are so tied to the government teat that they will force their employees to comply to keep that federal money coming. My employer falls under that category. My current contract is with a federal agency. Coercive tactics from the government while at the same time, we're about to hit the debt limit AGAIN. I expect the "continuity of business" messages soon as the company faces a cutoff of funds from a bankrupt government.

not sure where you got that corporations were covered. If OSHA was mandating it they would be, but OSHA has stopped the mandate at the requirement of the court. Corporations in this timeframe are not indemnified.
Weaponizing private businesses by the US government. What could go wrong and I do believe the democrat party should be sued into non existence.

Yup... my company isn’t backing down. If I don’t get the “vaccine” card uploaded by Jan. 4th, I am being terminated Jan 5th with no severence, DESPITE being previously approved for religious exemption, AND working remotely from home out of state.
