This is quite a different case than Rodney King. What civil right did Kyle violate? They might try but heck, who knows? After all, these vile prosecutors argued that a violent mob has a right to defend itself. Still I don’t quite see it. It’ll take some really devious spinning to turn this into a civil rights case. Kyle didn’t handcuff them and beat them with nightsticks.
