Everyone I’ve ever known to have a colonoscopy was put under.

Nurses told me that sometimes a person will ask not to be put under . . . and they regret their decision almost immediately and are in the worst kind of pain for 45 minutes. Any way, I rather like the drug.

I got to stay awake for my first one. It was cool.

I had one w/o anesthesia. I read a book throughout. It was uncomfortable, but that was it.

Now, I’ll take the drugs. Better living through chemistry!
