“According to the settlement with the ACLU, Stutzman agreed to pay $5,000 to the same-sex couple and will retire from her business”

Marriage is between one man and one woman and ordained by our Creator. May God bless this woman for taking a stand for the truth.

There is an all-Black Yacht Club on the Anacostia River.

Racial exclusivity is a point of pride for the members and slip holders.

It is a private business.

I don’t know much about it, because it’s not really my business to know.

Also, I don’t care. I don’t care to join.

I believe people should do as they please.

I happen to be a Jew. If Jimmy’s Shoe Shop down the street had a sign outside saying “NO JEWS,” I wouldn’t darken their door. I imagine that would hurt their sales somewhat. I might publicize their intolerance.

Perhaps I am crazy but it seems to me it is more dangerous to live in a society where government forces private enterprise to do as government pleases than live in a society where the actions of a few might offend me.

After all, it is the Nazis who promoted and made mandatory, in phases, the bans on Jews and Jewish businesses. Had the matter been relegated to a hands-off approach at the government, permitting, etc. level, I suspect that it would have been found that things such as Kristallnacht were bad for business.

Alas, now we have sort of a low-grade Kristallnacht every day, ironically under the banner of diversity and inclusion.

There was probably no other option when the Trump supreme court judges refused to hear her appeal.

Ultimately it is God Who settles the case. I wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of Scripture.

Even though I may have more in common with the plaintiffs than the septuagenarian grandmother, I believe creative expression should not be compelled. Only people who are not artists could argue an individual’s creativity and expression can be compelled. In the design world, sorry, you can say, “Sorry not interested in that project.” And not live in fear of losing everything. I am horrified the ACLU targeted her personal finances, not just the business where they might have some argument for public accommodation

Exactly. They are insatiable. And in this case, they win again.

In general, homosexuality is gross and immoral.
In the case of homosexual predators who use lawsuits to bully their victims, it is as evil as it is with homosexual predators who use rape to bully their victims.

I was expecting the story to be in Colorado. The state that defies the SCOTUS.

The fact that this stupid case has been ongoing for a decade simply shows that our legal system is seriously broken.

Yeah, they're just so proud of themselves, beating up on a little old lady. Couple of filthy bullies is what they are. They'll get theirs in spades one of these days.
