I believe Julius is guilty and that he deserved the death penalty. But the Gov. of OK has commuted his sentence, so oh well. I’m sorry for the victims family. Not sure how they feel about this. Sad.
There was an eyewitness to the shooting and it occurred in front of the victims two young daughters. If the govenor was so sure of his innocence, why is he still in jail?
A lot of people don’t believe in the death penalty.
there is a clear movement in this country to basically allow them to do anything with little to no consequence unless ..idk..it’s their 30th offense.

Local news reported a compromise had been made.

“We know Governor Stitt had a difficult decision to make. We take comfort that his decision affirms the guilt of Julius Jones and that he shall not be eligible to apply for, or be considered for, a commutation, pardon or parole for the remained of his life”
