That >almost< shows how hard I’m laughing :-)
Heavy D is gonna be a great President after Trump’s second term.
Good catch! (vailed)
Very well said.
I noticed that on Newsmax this morning. Pretty clever.
This is AWESOME!!!!!
I love his sense of humor.
Trump/Desantis?
However, DeSantis may be more valuable as governor. God only knows who they could be stuck with if DeSantis doesn’t run for governor.
We NEED governors like him to stand up to the federal tyranny and set an example for other governors (hopefully) to follow.
NH has passed legislation not allowing mandates.
I don’t know if Sununu has signed it or not yet. I doubt he’ll veto it as there is a LOT of strong opposition to it here in NH. Very little support at the grassroots level.
I just finished watching this GOAT presser.
DeSantis is the best.
The entire time, hubby and I were asking each other.....Where’s Abbott?

Good. Now we need to put pressure on the other 30 plus Republican Governors to do the same. Namely, call a special session of their atate legislature.

So right. Now is the time to put pressure on the 30 plus Republican Governors to call a special session of their legislature.
Too many of these 30 plus Republican Governors are nothing more than ‘blue-suited suck-ups’.
BTW, a ‘blue-suited suck-up’ is defined as a person who has reached a relatively high level of authority who avoids taking any decisive action.
Sorry, USA. As a new Floridian, I want him right here through 2026 (term limits).
I’m also a Floridian, 4 years old state-wise, and an escapee from the cesspool of Dem vipers that the State of IL has become. Best move I ever made was to move to Florida. Almost all of my relatives (not many left as I’m no spring chicken anymore) also have moved to Florida; a couple of them moved to SC and a couple are in Huntsville, AL. All of us got out of IL just in the nick of time and headed South.
As to DeSantis, he won’t run if Trump does, unless something happens to Trump to prevent him from running; otherwise he will do it. Revenge is a dish best served hot OR cold, and Trump deserves his revenge for the hell they put him through while in office; they are still after him with phony lawsuits in NY and via the Jan. 6th non-insurrection show trial in the House. Just a 3rd attempt to impeach Trump, and we all know that the Dems stole the 2020 election from him.
Trump knows where all the bodies lie, and he will go tooth and nail against his political enemies when back in office; he already is doing so via his 2022 Pub primary picks and targeting his enemies that he has marked for defeat (like Liz Cheney).
Florida still is only marginally Republican. When DeSantis last won, it was only by a slim margin and his Dem opponent was basically a whack job Socialist. We need DeSantis in FL to stabilize the State more permanently into the Republican column, a solid Red State for the future.
This time around he is running against the old re-tread Charlie Christ (once the Gov of Fl until he lost to a Pub by another slim margin). He must be defeated as he would ruin FL. There is a woman, I believe her name is Fried, running against Christ in the Dem primaries, and she would be equally as bad as Christ.
We need DeSantis to stay put for one more term, and for the first time, finally, more new voters have registered as Pubs than Dems in our State. We must not lose that political edge as FL is such an important State to win in the general elections.
Our Governor’s lovely wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am sure she is getting the best care and treatment available; however now is probably not the time for DeSantis to be travelling around the Country trying to run for President. In fact he won’t; he is crazy about his wife and won’t leave her side for any lengthy period of time by being out on the campaign road. It just isn’t going to happen.
He’s going to do one more term in FL, and then, if the chips fall into place and his wife is okay, he will run for President. If his wife gets better fast, I am sure Trump will offer him a position that he can use as a platform to run for Prez from. DeSantis’ time will come, he is young, and in 2028 it will be his turn. He will make a great President and a worthy successor to Trump.
As to you less than loyal turncoats, it was Trump that “brung you to the dance”. It was Trump who governed as a true conservative and implemented all the policies we yearned for. It was Trump who had a pair and doubled down on the corrupt Dems and fought them tooth and nail. It was Trump who had a consistently positive agenda and is one of our Country’s greatest cheerleaders.
It was Trump’s egocentric, showbiz mixed with practicality personality, great humor and boundless energy that captured the American imagination and rallied (literally, MAGA) our citizens into the troops that formed the coalition that allowed us to beat the Dems in 2016. No one else could have accomplished that win in 2016. And now you would abandon him?
No one else will be able to re-create that winning coalition other than the man with the out-sized personality that was what won him the election in the first place. All of you folks that waffle about his age, or his “bad” picks for positions (he had plenty of good ones too, and you never know when some rotten egg might turn on you, look in a mirror). You folks that want Trump not to run are just like those turncoats; no loyalty and with a propensity to want to turn on your own kind. You’re just like some of those appointments he made that went bad; much too willing to twist the stiletto in his back just like what they did. Time for you backstabbers to stop verbally nitpicking and get back on the bandwagon if you really want us to win. Rein in your claws.
Trump will win. He already is according to polls of Trump vs. Biden; he is consistently ahead. Once he gets on the campaign road, our folks will coalesce behind him so fast it will make your head spin, as he is still beloved by thousands of ordinary Americans. He will be able to clean house when back in office, and repair the incredible damage done to this Country by the evil and corrupt Dem leadership with their brown shirt storm troopers BLM and Antifa that are trying to destroy our Country and turn it into their socialist paradise.
Bottom line, Trump in 2024; DeSantis in 2028, and our Country will be fine as long as the Pubs don’t do what too often they do, and sabotage their own. As long as those idiots (like suburban soccer moms fed the “mean tweets” meme by the MSM and who now live to regret their votes in 2020, wise up and vote Pub again, and they will. We must not judge a man by his personality rather than his actual policies and accomplishments. That is what has gotten us into the extreme jeopardy to our way of life we are now railing against. Please stop being incredibly petty; it will be our death knell.
Then we will be able to right our ship of State and restore greatness throughout our wonderful land. I love Trump; one of the greatest Presidents we’ve ever had, fighting against enormous odds, and still standing. What a man! And I love our FL Gov DeSantis; like Trump he doubles and triples down. Also, what a man!
There is one thing that I dread about Trump. Enough people appear to have been put off by him to make his chances in 2024 slim to none. Don’t worry, if he runs and makes it through the primary*, I will support him and I will vote for him. Then he will likely get his arse kicked. I don’t like it, but there are people out there who would choose another Reagan, but who cannot abide Trump.
*Given how lousy most GOPee are, I would likely vote for Trump in my primary, too. :-)
“There is one thing that I dread about Trump. Enough people appear to have been put off by him to make his chances in 2024 slim to none.”
That is so wrong. Slim to none? You joke, of course. They have been taking polls of late of a Biden vs. Trump race, and Trump is already beating Biden in them, even though he has maintained a fairly low profile, working against Dems behind the scenes and endorsing strong conservative candidates for the mid-term Pub primary elections.
Also, in 2020 Trump had more votes (80 million) than any other Pub running for Prez before him. And you know the only way Biden “won” and I use that word loosely, is that the Dems cheated and stole the election in the middle of the night from Trump.
The last thing Trump has been is a gracious loser in the face of a stolen election, as you will find out when he runs again, doubles down and wins big-time, in spite of the fact that the Dems will try to cheat again.
It’s called revenge, and I strongly support revenge. However, we are en garde now and the vote returns will be a closely watched pot, so the opportunities for Dems to cheat again will be minimized (although not totally extinguished).
You will see; Trump will win. My question is who will he choose to run with him for VP? I hope he doesn’t get sucked in to the woman thing, and doesn’t choose one (I am female). I want a strong male ticket to offset whatever politically correct combo the Dems choose to run for Prez in 2024. It won’t be Joe and/or Kamala. It will be a different ticket; however as their bench is very weak and pretty odious, it won’t make any difference.
I heartily agree, unless the VP candidate is Winsome Sears.
“I heartily agree, unless the VP candidate is Winsome Sears.”
Well, you picked a good one. May have to revise my no female stance if it is Winsome. I love her name; that would bring in votes just by itself.
