Hoping to see this thing wrap up soon with a favorable verdict for our nation's hero - Kyle Rittenhouse and some legal jeopardy for ADA Binger and his buddy Krause (aka Fatlock).
A complete three ring circus with a new clown act in each ring; lawyers, judge and jury. I still think the judge knows the law and knows KR acted in self defense.... but does he have the intesticle fortitude to take charge and rule him innocent. Jury must be a fruit salad with a nut or two in it.
I don’t think he is strong enough to rule mistrial with prejudice.
Wow talk about editorializing and promoting absolute lies in that article.
The notes are one thing, the editorialized fabrication of events are a complete other. Zero journalist integrity.
The suggestion the foreman is a woman and is the hold out sounds right to me. This looks like an SWJ who went straight for the foreman job so she can play the heroine in social and broadcast media post trial.
Someone needs to sack up and tell her to stop talking and let the Judge know we have a hung jury. He needs to tell her he will never for for a conviction.
People need to learn there is no way to reason with these fundemrnatally irrational SWJ Karens
Weird indeed and another night where pressure can be brought to bear and the message of severe consequences if the jury doesn't vote to convict.
You missed the memo.
Journalists are now told there is no such thing as objective truth. There is only spin. Their job is to deconstruct events and reformulate them consistent with the anti-racist anti-capitalist narrative. All about the spin.
So she can go home and google everything and come back the next day as Karen the Legal Expert and tell the jury what to do.
This foreperson is probably the holdout.
Post 486 wins the day.
I’ll agree the foreman is a woman, and there is at least one who is playing dumb, holding out, whatever.
Whether the forwoman is a holdout, I don’t know, and it doesn’t matter. I’d be shocked if she has the power to intimidate the rest of ‘em.
Any of the jurors can get the judge’s ear, if they feel the jury is dysfunctional, or if they think the forman is unreasonable.
Not to worry. Patience in the jury room will wear thin by the end of tomorrow.
Thank you
I hope that the majority of the jurors are refusing to budge from their vote for acquittal. Let the one or two leftist who refuse to face facts just talk on until they are blue in the face. Refuse to convict just because CNN says he is guilty. It can be a hung jury and then the judge should grant the defense’s motion to dismiss with prejudice.
Just curious, who pays for those lunches? The Town or Kyle?
makes you wish the judge could interview each member of the jury individually and simply ask what is going on in the jury room. Give each individual a chance to give a description of what is going .... would be interesting.... pipe dream. Will be interesting if any of the jurors give interviews to msm when it is all over.... this has happened before.
The signal that negotiations have broken down is the fact that the jury asked to be released an hour early today.
The presiding juror (foreperson) also asked if they could take the jury instructions home with them, and the judge granted the request. This is not good, because now they can spend hours looking stuff up on the Internet, which they should not be able to do.
>>>So she can go home and google everything and come back the next day as Karen the Legal Expert and tell the jury what to do.<<<
Could the judge be setting her up? She comes back tomorrow after researching the case and another juror rats her out - she gone!
I believe it is a budgeted item and comes out of the courts budget for trial expenses.
“Not to worry. Patience in the jury room will wear thin by the end of tomorrow.”
Karen gets one more morning to make her pitch. Then the rubber hits the road. I wish they had the high resolution video. The whole Kyle provoked them argument.
I think they are not allowed access to open source, like internet, news stand, teevee, radio news. I agree not good to give jurors the instructions to take home. If they want to work on it, work on it in a group. If you’re tired, take a break, dinner, sleep, see you tomorrow.
But info access is on the honor system, most likely. If the person asking breaks the rule, I bet somebody rats them out, and “poof,” the Karen is gone.
You have a great point there about leaving an hour early. I agree that is a sign things are fraying.
If they intended to look up stuff on the internet, they didn't need to ask if they can take the instructions home. Jury instructions are on the net... unless they don't know how to use the search function... in that case they wouldn't know how to look up stuff.
I like this line of thinking!
