One or two rogue jurors may prompt the judge to order mistrial with prejudice.

Zero chance.

If Patton were alive he’d be slapping some attorneys and possibly one judge.

Yep, stinks to high heaven.

I honestly can't believe the judge didn't look at the prosecution yesterday and ask, "What the Hell is going on here?" -- especially after Wisco obliterated is explanation.

Zero chance.

Do you have a rationale for your "zero chance" assertion?

True, the judge's lifelong reputation is on the line now. He can't punt.

Agreed on the “complicated case” - over 100 pages of jury instructions has to be daunting to the jury, especially the foreman. I served as foreman on a murder trial a few years ago & we had a much smaller set of instructions. The state had a very strong case & the public defenders had little to use in their case. We were done in an afternoon but there was serious discussion about the “lesser included charges” as options for those jurors who had trouble with closing the jail doors for a long time on the defendant. The instructions were the guidelines to a clear verdict on the case with a very long sentence. I certainly feel for the entire panel & pray they get it right soon.

With prejudice is not a ruling that is made lightly. In high profile cases, such as this, there is almost no chance of that being the outcome.

Phone companies should be prepared to suspend wireless networks, to prevent rioter coordination.

I couldn't imagine the phone companies kneecapping the Democrats like that.

My prediction is that:

Jury is deadlocked with one or two wokeers (is that a word?) that will find him guilty regardless of the evidence.

The judge will call a mistrial with prejudice. He had decided for a mistrial several prosecutor outrages ago but will only use it if the verdict is guilty or a deadlock.

Well, that’s really sad for Kyle. It almost sounds as if a family member saw all those dollar signs and took advantage of it. What a shame, because I’m sure Barnes would be really reluctant to go back.

There is also great debate about the AI adding pixels to the zoomed in “Kyle holding a gun “ pose and if that can even be allowed in a court according to some manual.. the defense brought this up yesterday as something that they just found out about

Lunchbox was whining about they use it all the time in court. That is true for videos to prove someone was at a certain time at a certain place but not so much as too zoom in to see if there is a mosquito on somebody or something

When asked to comment, the judge said, “Ahhhhh. Ahhhhh . . . Ahhhhh.”

“its very obvious Kyle is innocent,”

I’m not following this closely but is there clear evidence that each person shot was shot in self defense?

Well, actually, maybe my question should be is there clear evidence that it wasn’t self defense.

... He should also remind him they’ll find nothing incriminating in the videos, and he’ll be ruling against the prosecution on them later....

That would be as an egregious behavior on the part of the court as is possible.

Yes, assuming the judge has a brain and ethics.
