Republican Senator Tim Scott says he saw "no justification" for Kenosha cops to shoot Jacob Blake
CBS News ^ | 8/27/20 | Elizabeth Elkind

Posted on 11/16/2021 8:28:05 PM PST by AnthonySoprano

"Looking at the video, I saw no justification whatsoever for those cops to shoot that young man," Scott said in an interview Thursday with "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King. "We need to get to the root of the issue." (snip) Scott credited the wide availability of video cameras for bringing such incidents to light, enabling us to respond to issues of racism and police violence "at a higher level."

Scott is 56 and unmarried. Graham is 66 and unmarried. Two peas in a pod?

“The guy was a rapist, the girls called because he was stealing the kids.” She had a restraining order on him.

"Paul is the only one who doesn’t need to be primaried."

My main problem with Paul is that on January 6th, he planned to reject Biden's electors, but later, once Congress was back in session, he chickened out, and voted to accept them, and unlimited voter fraud. Not only was he assaulted by a neighbor, but in August of 2020, after the RNC convention, he and his wife were accosted on the street in D.C. by BLM thugs, and he publicly wined incessantly about it. Then he turned tailed on January 6th, and wouldn't stand with the other Republicans who were brave enough to vote to reject Biden's electors.

I agree, but he’s the best of the whole stinkin’ bunch. I’m fine with throwing all of them out. But if we had to pick one of them to spare, he’s the least filthy.

Exactly.

Unfortunately Scott is one of the better Senators. Too bad he is speaking from ignorance or lack of objectivity on this matter.

This tells me Scott’s staff needs upgrading.

No, Scott's senate seat needs upgrading.

The root of the issue is confront police with deadly weapons. Don’t do that …. You have a much better chance at living.

"We need to get to the root of the issue."

The police ruled the shooting was justified. That's the end of it.

Once again we see a case of a tribal person going tribal. I can’t think of a single tribal politician who hasn’t done that.

Another lie by the msm.

He had the knife in his hand.

He pulled it when he was fighting with the cops, which is why they backed off and tazed him.

He dropped it, then picked it up.

He was turning to stab or cut the cop when shot.

He admitted this to Michael Strahan on GMA.

I understand your point.

My point is that a Senator should “know better.” It’s general knowledge for those paying attention; but we should understand that a Senator may not be paying attention to everything. It is his staff’s job to brief him on this stuff before he goes talking about it.

This tells me he has bad staff. Hiring his staff is his job. And hiring bad people is a sign of incompetence.

I don’t recall Tim Scott (or ANY politician) saying anything about the beating of Kelly Thomas in Fullerton, CA some ten years ago. It is believed to be the most horrific beating by police of an unarmed victim. Killed the poor guy. But then, Kelly Thomas was white.
