It seems to me this is an “it’s now or never” moment for Pence.
He’s not getting any younger, and having Trump on the ticket gives Trump’s new VP candidate the top shot at replacing him.
I think Trump wins in 2024 and his VP will be tough to beat in 2028. If that’s the case, I couldn’t see Pence having any real shot at the nomination until at least 2032. He’ll be 73 then.
So... I think Pence throws his hat in the ring in 2024. For the record, I’m 100% in for Trump.

I actually have a first cousin with the name Karen Pence. I had not realized the coincidence until just after the 2016 Election.
