No harm. Lefty isn't going to be charged, and it is not a crime to lie to the public or to the press - short of defamation.
Prosection and lefty are all about the narrative, not about the truth.

But it is a crime to lie under oath in the courtroom. And if he's making public statements different from his testimony, how does the court know his testimony was truthful? Especially when his public statements explicitly claim that courtroom testimony was false?!
