The biotechnology company Novavax plans to submit complete data to the US Food and Drug Administration soon for possible emergency use authorization of its coronavirus vaccine, CEO Stanley Erck told CNN in a phone interview Friday.
Novavax's vaccine, called NVX-CoV2373, is made using somewhat more conventional methods than the vaccines already authorized for use in the US. It uses small, laboratory-made pieces of the coronavirus to stimulate immunity -- an approach some people may be more familiar or comfortable with.
Viral vector and mRNA Covid-19 vaccines have thus far been the work horses in Western countries. But, these are not the typical vaccines people are accustomed to from childhood. This particularly applies in the case of mRNA vaccines where the only active ingredient is the messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA), which trains a person’s body to recognize and kill the virus.
The Novavax’s Covid-19 vaccine candidate, named Covovax, could be the first approved in the U.S. to rely on a traditional, tried-and-true inoculation method. Its protein-based Covid-19 vaccine employs what’s called recombinant nanoparticle technology, distinguishing it from mRNA and viral vector vaccines.
The purified protein, or protein subunit approach which Novavax used to develop its vaccine has been deployed in other vaccines that have been on the market for several decades. The Hepatitis B vaccine, for example, is a subunit agent.
"In the US, the primary market I think in 2022 is going to be to supply a vaccine, our normal two-dose regimen, to a lot of people who have been hesitant to get other vaccines," CEO Stanley Erck said. "And to provide a booster."
If the FDA gives the green light, the first 100 million doses of the protein-based vaccine will be ready to ship following authorization, Erck said.

Same here. Initially a Novavax promoter, I decided I don’t want any more spike proteins — and no synthetic ones — than what I got from a mild infection.
Pfizer is said to hopefully release a pill by December that has 90% effectiveness. That would be a game changer.
But will the Vax Nazis listen to the science? Don’t count on it.

Been reading about the FDA since they gave full approval to the Pfizer shot and within the week appointed Pfizer CEO to lead the FDA.

I don’t have enough information. Did this one use the abortion cells for testing? It could be used as a way to remove the religious objections to anyone taking, then withdrawn, and then you are forced to take one of the three.
That scenario is likely going to be true of any subsequent medicines whether it is needed or not. They then will use your use to create a “got ya”.

As I understand it, the Novavax vax does not use abortion cells. I believe it uses moth cells.
