Oh, you're a woke-poke employer eh?

You think hiding behind OSHA -- or the threat to issue a mandate by the government -- in some way prevents you from being liable for injuries and/or deaths related to the vaccines?

This piece by Karl Deninger is something all employers who plan on implementing any Covid-19 vaccine mandate take seriously.

Assuming this thing isn't litigated and delayed for months, why not instead promote the the testing option whereby employees do NOT need to get a shot in Paragraph G of this monstrosity.

(g) COVID-19 testing for employees who are not fully vaccinated.

(1) The employer must ensure that each employee who is not fully vaccinated complies with paragraph (g)(1)(i) or (ii) of this section:

(i) An employee who reports at least once every 7 days to a workplace where other individuals such as coworkers or customers are present:

(A) Must be tested for COVID-19 at least once every 7 days; and

(B) Must provide documentation of the most recent COVID-19 test result to the employer no later than the 7th day following the date on which the employee last provided a test result.

(ii) An employee who does not report during a period of 7 or more days to a workplace where other individuals such as coworkers or customers are present ( e.g., teleworking for two weeks prior to reporting to a workplace with others):

(A) Must be tested for COVID-19 within 7 days prior to returning to the workplace; and

(B) Must provide documentation of that test result to the employer upon return to the workplace.

Thus, even if it IS made law, there is an escape hatch.

Why not just require covid testing for EVERYBODY?
To require it only of those who did not get the clot-shot is inconsistent with the facts.
Anyone can get the covid. And if they get it they can transmit it.

Now isn’t that a move-the-goal-post clause—fully vaccinated. What was initially “fully vaccinated” was once for J&J, and twice for the other FrankinPharmas. Then it added the two-week window after a jab(s). Then it morphed into original jabs and then a single booster. Now it is multiple boosters. Good luck you jabbers!

Because that would not delight the people who get excited at the prospect of forced shots.

Some people are simply enamored with this shot. It's wild. At EVERY turn, the shot is the solution. Not even masks and social distancing and hand washing and testing is enough.

The shot has replaced God for some people. It's a little creepy.

I’ve noticed that too. It’s like they think they are being injected with superpowers or the body of Christ (if they believed in God, which they don’t). It’s also a case of collective Stockholm Syndrome and Stepfordwives mentality. I guess some people handle fear/uncertainty in weak-minded ways.

My company is working on a plan that allows the testing option. They are having a hard enough time now keeping employees. A shot only mandate may be a mortal wound to them.

Weekly testing is not an option, it is overkill harassment and a guaranteed profit industry for big pharma.

Just like workplace drug testing that doesn't apply to everyone. Too many of the wrong people would get caught in the trap.

States need to step up and change Workmen’s comp laws to include specific covid vaccine mandate adverse effects. And because there is no testing adverse reaction list (like for any other drug that is a mile long) they can include any disability after the vax including stubbed toe. Add benefits to include double pay for lifetime and complete healthcare coverage. That will stop it it 2 seconds.
