The Dems may have used COVID to their advantage for the 2020 Presidential election, but in doing so they also sowed the seeds of their future defeats. In 2020 they weaponized COVID and turned "two weeks to flatten the curve" into 16+ months of lockdowns, masking and constant fear-mongering. That upset many, many business owners. The Dems also used COVID to shut down in-school teaching, opting instead for virtual schooling. However, that enabled parents to see what their children were being taught -- and they weren't happy about it. Aaah, the best laid plans of mice and men. If the Dems were smart they'd pivot to the center and try to save the 2022 mid-terms. Instead, I expect they'll double-down on their hard left, anti-American, unpatriotic brand of identity politics.
