On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “At This Hour,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) said the Virginia gubernatorial election “was about local issues. Those were about parental issues. And unfortunately, racism raised its ugly head and the Republican candidate used it very aptly.” And she isn’t going to tie the result in Virginia “to Democrats or anything we did here in Washington.”

I’m white. I grew up in the south in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. I’m sure I only witnessed a tiny fraction of the racism I’d have seen if I had been born black. By comparison, America is now the least racist nation in history. I walk into the Circle K and see whites and blacks interacting with no trace of hesitation on either side. I see it in every public building and at sporting events.
A while back I attended a car show with a huge number of vendors. There was a fat, white guy with a bunch of Virginia Battle flags. (The stars and bars flag.) This massively muscular black man moved through the crowded room to the white guy’s table and I was expecting trouble. Nope. They knew each other and had a nice conversation. It had nothing to do with the flags.
You’d think the liberals would realize the racism thing isn’t selling and maybe try some populace policies. The thing that made the Clinton presidency a success was that when Clinton lost Congress he changed his approach and went for more reasonable non-Marxist policies.

Yes, the racism fundamentally at the heart of Marxist Critical Race theory. Fortunately, the voters of Virginia decided to fight the racism and elect Youngkin instead.
That so many out-of-staters are weighing in on the VA election is evidence they consider it highly significant, and, as such, a big time body blow to the dem party nationwide. Having utterer her verbal effluvium, lee can now go back to earning the title as the worst employer in congress, for the umpteenth time.
