It is too easy to focus on the illegal immigration and I am not saying we shouldn’t BUT keep the eye on the ball, legal immigration, that also defines the illegal immigration.

Might be odd, but in some ways I am in favor of catch and release. The only way to test many of them is to let them live here a while. Can’t tell who is good and who is not by the paperwork. Being in the system, encourages a lot of good behaviour. If we have them on record, then we can deport them when we find out. Not perfect I know but it has some pros.
