Speaking of ‘pundits’ - I’m so tired of hearing people on national news networks saying the name ‘Norfolk’.
They all pronounce it NOR-FOKE.
If you have any connection to it, you know that the city in Virginia is pronounced NAAW-fk.
(I feel microagressed whenever I hear this insensitive reference to an important city in my family’s home state...I find it an insult to my diversity; and people should know better.)
