Having been born in and grown up in VA, this makes me sad. I remember when our great, historic state was very conservative. Liberal transplants and immigration has transformed it.
It got all the wrong type of transplants thanks to the DC swamp seeping into it. NoVa is why conservatives cannot prevail in big elections.
McAwful was truly awful. Anyone with a brain should know this. But don’t expect liberals to learn anything. They are beholden to the ideology first, logic always comes a distant second for them.

So true. Many Northerners here now. Used to be Southerners who came to DC would not cross over the DC/VA line and Northerners would not cross the MD/DC line.
