Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather took to social media Monday to defend Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving’s decision to remain unvaccinated despite the team’s vaccine mandate.
“America is the land of the free: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and supposedly freedom to choose,” Mayweather said in a video posted on social media. “Never be controlled by money.”
“I respect you for having some integrity and being your own man. A free mind makes his own choices and a slave mind follows the crowd,” Mayweather continued. “Stand for something or fall for anything. One man can lead a revolution to stand up and fight for what’s right. One choice, one word, one action, can change the world. It’s crazy how people hate you for being a leader. I hope your actions encourage many others to stand up and say ‘enough is enough.'”
Mayweather’s support for Irving’s controversial decision comes amid increasing protests against the NBA team’s vaccine mandate causing black players to be benched.
Crowds of protestors gathered outside Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday before the Nets game against the Charlotte Hornets in support of medical freedom, chanting “No vaccine mandate, stand with Kyrie.” Others heard chanting “My body, my choice” and holding “Stand with Kyrie” signs, according to the Washington Examiner.

Floyd Mayweather said that admirably well.
That’s cool of him. It’s not like “Money” needs the attention.
I’m actually surprised more athletes aren’t taking a stand.

Uncle Tom in 3,2,1...
OW! That’s gonna leave a mark! TKO’d them suckas . . .
Isn’t it just two separate crowds people are following at this point?
Also I had to look it up but Kyrie Irving is the same nba player that said the world is flat in 2018. Wasn’t sure if it was the same guy but of course it is
I was in a hospital waiting room the day after he said this and was stuck watching that idiotic TMZ show. Sure enough, they did a hit job on Floyd for supposedly dissing a fan who wanted to take a picture with him. The whole thing was just so obviously a swipe at him for him coming out in support of Kyrie. People who watch those kinds of shows must have malleable mush for brains.
I might understand the insane push to vaccinate people if this was a beautiful vaccine, but it’s proving itself to be a turkey.
* It doesn’t stop the spread of the virus
* It doesn’t prevent infection with the possibility of symptoms, up to and including hospitalization and *death*
* It doesn’t remain effective for more than a few months
* And it has more side effects than any widely distributed vaccine in history.
BOOYAH! Floyd has been a free man for a long time. Still remember him taking McGregor to fight school.
now the left will tied him to the whippin post...
Sadly, America due to liberalism is immune to words of wisdom such as these.
Mayweather has a history of domestic violence so the left will automatically dismiss anything of value that comes out of his mouth. Then they’ll try and tie vaccine refusal to toxic masculinity.
Super based Floyd Mayweather
Will the manufacturer list EVERY single ingredient in their vaccine? Or is there a bunch of “proprietary “ ingredients. Will they reveal those ingredients? yes or no, if no, why not?
YEAH FLOYD he gets it
Love it!
