This article is not about Trump! It's a good article on how progressivism morphs into dystopian socialism. He uses Venezuela as a most recent example. He only mentions Trump is passing and even then, he only briefly and vaguely criticizes his tactics, not his policies. But apparently that is too much for some people around here. I think you’re missing that point about our criticism of Stossel‘s “selfishness” comment. As I see it, such a comment would be quite appropriate if Stossel was discussing Trump’s faults (and yes, he has many).
But Stossel is discussing something else entirely. So that “selfishness” comment was both unnecessary and unhelpful. It would be as if he had said something insulting about opera fans, then went on to discuss Climate Change.
