Air traffic hobbyists in Taiwan intercepted radio challenges directed at approaching Chinese warplanes for the 10th day in a row on Tuesday, after regular activity returned to the skies around the island following a surge in confrontations at the beginning of October.
Global attention on Taiwan's air defense identification zone has faded since China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) flew 149 sorties into the southwest corner of the ADIZ in the first four days of the month, including a single-day record 56 flights on October 4.
But open-source intelligence (OSINT) enthusiasts, who rely on public plane- and ship-tracking websites to monitor military activity around the self-ruled island, are witnessing a return of the near-daily flights, which numbered an all-time high 173 sorties this month as of Monday.
With 695 PLA sorties into Taiwan's ADIZ so far, 2021 is also the busiest year on record. For comparison, there were 380 such flights last year.

They’re not close to being over land.
They can buzz all they wish. The only question that is stopping the Chinese communists from mounting an invasion is uncertainty on a fundamental , key issue. Are the people of Taiwan will to mount a stout, determined, costly in every way fighting defense to preserve their freedom and way of life? If they are, then an invasion may fail and the casualties will be politically and economically destabilizing for the communists. Xi and his cronies would be forced out in a very unpleasant manner.
And what does Bidem do, nothing?
Taiwan have backup nukes for last minute retaliation? I’d say a “live free or die” motto for them should be their moniker in dealing with China.
They need the game changer that Nukes can give them, if they haven’t got them already.

Every once in a while a B-2 or some of those tic-tac UFOs need to magically appear over Beijing just for grins.
Tiawan needs a high powered laser to start lighting up the aircraft in their air defense zone.
This is fantasy but I would like to see if the chips Taiwan makes and China uses to have a kill switch. When China attacks, hit the switch. Watch the Jets fall from the sky.

Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea and possibly Japan could jointly destroy China’s base of operations for a generation.
1- multiple drone attacks or cruise missiles to hit the base or (toe) of the 3 Gorges Dam. Or even simple high explosive bunker busters in front of and behind the dam after sabotaging the outlet vents with debris. The dam would just slide off it’s foundation.

China is in a cash crunch with all bad realestate dealing going on and some backlash from it’s people Xi has a lot irons in the fire now easy to make a bad mistake.
