I voted for Trump in 2020 — he proved to be the ultimate RINO in 2021
The Hill ^ | 10/22/2021 | JOSEPH BOSCO

Posted on 10/22/2021 10:06:22 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

In a recent Washington Post opinion piece, Robert Kagan presented a chilling, but disturbingly accurate, portrayal of American politics today and its dire portents given the deep political divisions and dysfunctional state of our institutions. A premise of his thesis is that “party loyalty has superseded [executive-legislative-judicial] branch loyalty … in the Trump era.” A more descriptive statement of the Republican side of the ominous national problem — Democratic extremists deserve at least equal blame — would be that loyalty to Donald Trump has superseded party loyalty.

Trump has proved himself to be the ultimate embodiment of a “Republican in name only,” or RINO, a political epithet now hurled at Republicans who dare to deviate — not from GOP principles, but from Trump adulation.

Originally a Democrat (as was Ronald Reagan), Trump suggested in 2015 he might run for president as an independent, which would have split conservative voters and ensured a Hillary Clinton victory. In the first Republican debate in 2016, he alone among a dozen GOP candidates refused to commit to support the winning party nominee.

I don’t believe I have EVER seen a political figure as hated as Trump. Tells me he’s the one we need.

“Robert Kagan is a neoconservative writer and historian based at the Brookings Institution. A longtime proponent of an aggressive, interventionist U.S. foreign policy, Kagan has played an influential role in shaping the neoconservative agenda for more than two decades. Kagan is also one of a host of neoconservatives to have vocally criticzed Donald Trump, whom Kagan has called “the most successful demagogue-charlatan in the history of U.S. politics.”

Kagan was a cofounder of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), a now defunct pressure group that helped build Beltway support for the U.S. invasion of Iraq throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. In the early years of the Obama administration, he reprised this role as a cofounder of the Foreign Policy Initiative, a PNAC successor group.”

"The GOP is damaged goods."....with William Crystal leading the way.

Most Conservatives are Constitutionalist

The Party of The Constitution or the Constitutional Party. Both sound alright to me...

Didn’t Reagan say he did not leave the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party left him?

Be ready to see more hit pieces on Trump by the RINO’s and others.

The Communists, Democrats, and RINO’s are very scared today after seeing the enthusiasm in the market place for Trump’s
DWAC (DIGITAL WORLD ACQUISITION CORP).

DWAC is a major threat to the above named anti-Americans who have been relying upon their buddies in Mainstream Media and Tech Oligarchs to suppress American Citizens.

BTW, DWAC is currently trading at:

DWAC
DIGITAL WORLD ACQUISITION CORP CLASS A COM
$104.54 +59.04 (+129.76%)

Not a bad runup from its $12.00 opening yesterday.

In fact, President Trump is the ultimate outside the Establishment citizen representative that we have had the pleasure to serve in our nation’s highest office since the days of George Washington. He placed the interests of the American Republic far above those of any “party” or personal considerations. He proved to all of us that a regular citizen can do a far superior job of governing than any Career Politician could ever dream of doing. That’s precisely why the Establishment Ruling Class cannot tolerate him or those of US who support him.

We would be much better off if we were to have 535 people like President Trump serving in our Congress.

The Bush Crime Family refuses to relinquish control of the GOP. They view the Republican Party as their private concern and America-be-damned.

I will never vote for any Republican that allies with that criminal clan.

BTW-—CNBC called upon Anthony Scaramucci to diss his former boss.

Not surprising reaction from MSM to the huge response to Trump’s DWAC.

The left screw up everything they touch, so al, they have ,eft to argue is lies.

This fella is no conservative. If he were, he’d realize that what he said is what a true rino would say, and he wouldn’t have written it. He is a typical rino himself, using the typical rino/liberal tactic of projection. He’s the rino. Not Trump.

My Lord, I subjected myself to reading this garbage. UGH

Sometimes, you have to take one for the team. I read a lot of this crap, just to know what the loons are thinking. I wanted to see this guy's "logic" in his own words.

I'm a conservative, not necessarily a Republican. I generally vote Republican because it is usually the most conservative choice among the reasonable options. The Republican Party cannot take my vote for granted, however. As I showed in 2012, you nominate a stinking piece of garbage like Myth Romney and I walk. I proudly voted for Virgil Goode as Romney was a bridge too far. Had I not had that option, I would have stayed home.

This guy has it all wrong. Before Trump came along, most Americans realized that our national government - all of it, was corrupt and broken. Special interests were controlling all of Congress and elections, not constituents. Bureaucracies had too much control and and were dictatorial, often making regulations contrary to the legislation. The government was too big. And on and on. Something had to be done but no one knew what. The Constitution was our saving grace. But the SCOTUS has been weak and unwilling to take on the tough issues.

Then Donald Trump, a non-politician, came along and most of us immediately knew there was a chance and we backed him. He then gave us a glimpse of how great America could be. But the entrenched political and corporate forces feeding off the taxpayers tits boxed him in and through manipulation, dishonesty and treason were able to neutralize him.

We are a house divided and the house in now in flames.

The trump program to make America great again, is was, is, and will be a winner. At this point in time lets not get locked in on personalities, but rather, lets promote the plan to save America. Let is have a “Contract for America” as a litmus test for all running for office, and make that contract Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda.

Thanks for posting. I’m not clicking.

He may have a point since most Republicans are squishy, assistant democraps.

President Trump may be more a Constitutional Conservative Libertarian.
