For the umpteenth time, Saddam did have WMD's. I'm not saying we should have gone to war in Iraq. I'm saying Saddam himself acknowledged he still had holdover WMD's. In fact, post-Saddam Canada bought a bunch of uranium from Iraq.
The thing I don't like about the repeated lie of "no WMD's in Iraq" is that it's used to tie our hands in the present and future when dealing with nations like Iran building nukes.

The list that Powell gave was from Hussein’s list of declared items that he never turned over for destruction. Some of them had been directly documented and sampled by multi-national organizations.

I totally agree with you. I’m sick to death of hearing that there were NO WMDs. Everybody who was paying the tiniest bit of attention was fully aware of them.
