Chris Christie 2024 White House path runs through 2022 midterm elections supporting GOP candidates

Chris Christie has joined the cavalcade of Republicans boosting party efforts to recapture Congress in midterm elections as a primer for a 2024 presidential bid.

The former New Jersey governor is lending his political muscle to the Republican group handling redistricting, fundraising for the Republican Governors Association, and possibly hitting the road to stump for GOP candidates on the 2022 ballot — as so many of his ilk are already doing.

But there is a key difference between Christie and the others: his willingness to criticize Donald Trump and his insistence the former president’s 2024 plans will not affect his own.

“Cant go back to the beach, Chris. You’ve had your day in the sun.”

Crispie had a good first term in NJ and gave the Rats hell. He was kinda Trump before we had President Trump.

Now he is vying to be the GOPe scold. I feel bad liking him before. Can’t stand him now.

Christie would be the perfect running mate for Pence.

Christie’s Presidential hopes, if any, are a pure fantasy. And the same goes for Nikki Haley.

Well said. But there’s this: I get that the establishment thinks we’re rubes and idiots. They don’t care what we think of them. But do they really not know what we think of them? I have such a hard time imagining that Christie doesn’t know just how much he’s loathed by a large portion of the base. Even if our opinions were ill-informed, the notion he thinks he can triumph despite us is mystifying

If yahoo and msnbc had their way it would be a tough race between Jeb Bush and Chris Christie. They gave us George W Bush by reporting on him early. They set a narrative and next thing you knew we were stuck. They knew Bush was weak against Al Gore and they only needed to cheat one big state away from him.

Fat Boy has absolutely no chance of being elected. Just a cash grab for Chubby. He hasn’t been up to anything here since his term ended.

It’s a shame Christie imploded himself. He did a great job defeating the multi-bazillionaire Goldman Sachs crook Corzine (who should be in jail) for governor. He also simultaneously took on the rabid NJ teachers unions. He didn’t have much money behind him but he won while being an underdog under constant attack.

I still haven’t seen any proof that Christie and Charlie Weis are not the same person. Anyone still remember Charlie Weis, the greatest mind in college football?

He will never get the nomination and who would hire this incompetent backstabber to work in their administration?
