To: Bon of Babble

Everyone who goes to space has an existential moment about the perceived fragility of the earth.

I don’t know if Shatner was a green nut before going to space.

But the only answers to climate change is real progress in efficiency and real useful technology like nuclear energy.

I don’t see a transition which can replace gas cars until some better engine is really obtainable. Get more rare earths foe batteries? That’s way too expensive

True enough. But unfortunately, the liberals have decided that we shouldn’t use nuclear energy. So there’s that. Good luck trying to get new nuclear plants built nowadays.
