I actually read the linked article (sometimes I do) and nowhere did he say anything about “Climate Change”. He talked about industrial pollution which happens in many forms with China being the main culprit, stripping of natural resources, destruction of habitat..etc. He never said any of that was leading to Climate Change. The Climate Change implication was inserted by the writer.

His observation that Earth’s atmosphere is fragile was a good one but he doesn’t have any special knowledge about climate change.
