What’s next?
Verify your vaccination status. Employees must verify their vaccine status and submit proof of vaccination. Please note, the deadlines vary for employees:
For U.S. employees (non-union) except retail, R2B and VCG home-based: The deadline to be fully vaccinated will be December 8, 2021. You will receive instructions on Monday, October 18, to upload proof of vaccination or apply for a legally recognized religious or medical accommodation.
For contractors, vendors, visitors and new hires who enter our U.S. facilities: The deadline to be fully vaccinated will be January 1, 2022.
For our retail and R2B teams: The deadline to be fully vaccinated will be February 1, 2022. If you work on these teams, you will receive instructions in early January to verify your vaccination status or apply for a legally recognized religious or medical accommodation.
This schedule is based on the current and anticipated U.S. federal requirements. If there are any changes to those requirements, we will of course communicate them to you.
CWA not included...
Verizon is dealing with the CWA, they have the Nads of Bruce Jenner
“At the moment, this does not apply to our union-represented employees as we are in discussion with the unions. We will share more details when they are made available.”
I moved one phone to Red Pocket from Verizon. It works. All of our phones will be moved to another carrier. Waiting to see who does not do this vaccine nonsense.
If customers walk, stand with employees, Verizon will cave.
It’s going to be “The Purge” in Chicongo this weekend.
I’m expecting an all time record.
CWA and IBEW need to stick together on this.
thelayoff.com is a really interesting site, and one of the comments about the vaccine is that it may just be a reduction in force by another name.

I would hope that Verizon realizes that they are playing a very expensive game here mandating that employees get vaccinated else lose their jobs with no federal laws dictating that they are obligated to do what they are doing?
Was under CWA in S Fl and IBEW with SNET up N.Then back to CWA in Melbourne.
I felt IBEW was way stronger than CWA.
Not a union type only belonged (in Fl) because I couldn’t get my job done if word got out I wasn’t a member. Up N had to belong.
Never forget.

I was IBEW, now I’m a contractor. Up here IBEW is definitely stronger. (Just outside Philly)
An aside - I was stationed at Patrick AFB.
It would sell.
Thanks for that link. I’m finding this idea this is all about “trimming the fat” more and more reasonable.
That's exactly what it is. The SEC and the Department of Labor are in on the scam. These companies are affecting layoffs but don't want to have their stock values take a hit.
Verizon already saw strikes back in 2016 when they cut benefits to employees and outsourced support to oversease operations.
It's going to be difficult for the company to function with less talent, especially when those who didn't get laid off have to deal with the increased workload. As the ADE health complications continue for those who got the Jim Jones Jab, expect to see entire companies disappear in mergers and consolidations.
I’ve been waiting to switch from Verizon for awhile. It will cost me a bundle but this is the time.
In fact I’m going to stop frequenting local businesses who force the jab AND force masking. And I will make sure they know why I’m dropping them. I’ve warned a couple of them already. I recommend everyone do this.
My son-in-law is one. He works from home. I pray he finds a workaround.
All the ones I talk to are in India.
