Trump Says Republicans Won't Vote in Midterms, 2024 Election if 2020 Fraud Isn't 'Solved'
Newsweek via MSN ^ | 10/13/21 | Jenni FInk

Former President Donald Trump believes Republicans will sit out the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election, of which he may be a contender, if the fraud he believes occurred during the 2020 election isn't "solved."

Trump has been pushing that he rightfully won the 2020 presidential election since the race was called for Biden and has been critical of legislators and judges who don't back the belief as well. He has yet to prove widespread fraud occurred that would have changed the outcome of the election and on Wednesday, he railed against a Georgia judge who dismissed a fraud suit.

In a statement, Trump denied that little evidence has been produced to prove he's the rightful winner of the presidential election, saying that they've "thoroughly and conclusively documented" it. He added that Republicans will withhold their votes in 2022 and 2024 if the election fraud isn't "solved." He added it is the "single most important thing for Republicans to do."

Dream on. The gop is not with you about 100% of the time. Against Trump. There is no 125%

Understandable but not very helpful.

He's absolutely correct. Anyone with any conviction knows that voting for the GOP is useless. Keep spinning your wheels, though. GOP is better than the dims, or some such utter nonsense.

One of the statements Inwish Trump would NOT make.

Truth hurts.

Trump is right. There’s little point in voting considering many of the Republicans are in cahoots with the Democrats.

I’m not convinced the Republicans lost those two seats any more than I’m convinced Donald Trump lost in November.

Sorry, no matter what sitting out any election is no help at all, any time. You think you are “sending a signal” but the winners don’t care, the independents don’t care and you’ve gained nothing except satisfying your own feeling of righteous pride.

I’m with you.
I will vote in the primary for the MAGA candidate.
If the Assistant Democrat is on the ballot in November it stays blank.

I’d rather have rinos vote with me 75% of the time

Negative. Better the enemy out in front than stabbing you in the back. Screw the GOP.

No one who is serious about saving the country thinks we can do that by re-electing progressive Assistant Democrat Republicans.

I think the better tactic is to promise to totally overwhelm the Dims like everyone who is not a Dim has never done before - bigger than R Reagan.

The Dominion machines add the votes then split them up then pick the winner

He must have been reading my posts. I’ve said this for months. 10 million republican voters are going to stay home. We will never have a turnout like we did for 2020 yet republicans allowed this to happen. There is no point in voting in fake elections.

Even the “assistant Democrats” voted against convicting Trump in the first impeachment (other than Romney on one count).

So not voting for the GOP candidate because he/she is not conservative enough, is a risk and something the Dems want you to do.

That is how I read it as well. He’s essentially saying that Republicans (as usual) are not willing to fight against Democrat lawlessness and abuses. In this case its election fraud but in general, the R’s don’t push back and that only makes the Dems more evermore aggressive.

The reason the elections are such a mess is because the Dems have zero respect for Republicans. Dems bulldoze them on nearly every issue.

At what point will Republicans stand up and really fight? Prolly never IMO.

“You think you are “sending a signal” but the winners don’t care, the independents don’t care and you’ve gained nothing except satisfying your own feeling of righteous pride.”

In the end, none of them care. No matter who you vote for. The few politicians that do try are shut out and isolated. It wasn’t just Democrats who screwed over Trump but Republicans in Congress and in his Administration and even within his inner circle.

That is correct in my case. I unregistered to vote and will not register to vote again until electoral integrity is restored.

In California they are headed in the opposite direction. I am planning on moving out of state soon.

Very well put !
Such “massage-the-ego-Because I’m so pure” thinking will send us all to the gulag !

Does a football team punt & go home if they don’t immediately get a touchdown or even a first down on the first play or the second or even third play from scrimmage?

No !

Does a batter give up after one swing and a miss ?

No !

Does any team in any sport refuse to play the season if they lose the first game even the first two games?

No !

On the other hand, voting gives legitimacy to an obviously fraudulent electoral process.

So be sure to vote even harder.

***************

The other problem (and Trump knows this all to well) is even when Republicans are gain “control”, they’re not really in control. They don’t want to lead. They don’t want to fight.

The fact is voting for Republicans is often an exercise in disappointment, unfortunately.
