No, it is the flu. Until we figgered out the differences between cold virii and influenza, a cold with fever, aches, etc was a bad cold. Now, we recognize it as flu.
There is a difference between the 10-40% effective flu vaccines and the fake vax for Covid (AKA WuhanFlu). The fake vax does protect you against the WuhanFlu hurting you. But, it protects you from nothing else, either flu, cold, or transmitting the WuhanFlu to others.
I do not like getting colds, but when I get one I take Mucinex D and my symptoms are usually controlled so that I have little discomfort. In March of 2019 I had "a cold" accompanied by a terrible sore throat, and Mucinex D did not help. I thought I had Strep. Went to doctor and was told I had Influenza B and started taking Tamiflu. I'd had a flu shot the previous November.
Lots of people think a cold is the Flu or that a case of diarrhea is some sort of "stomach flu" when it isn't.
