Nope, its the Blacks who have the hate vs. Asians.
Blacks here a long time, have gotten all sorts of preferences and still are bottom of the barrel.
Chinese, etc come..no special preferences, work/study hard, be good citizens and Blacks resent them for making them look bad.

That said, IMO, half of the whites aren’t worth much either. Dittos for the Hispanics.

Take a look at our Governor, the President, the Senate, the Congress, the Courts....mostly white and too many of them are well, better suited for less competency-requiring occupations.

People must be judged as individuals, not for skin color etc.

This gentleman's primary source for this largely incoherent piece is the "research" (which appears to be a compilation of Google searches" by a person called "Janelle Wong", who is presumably the same woman he interviewed. That "Research" is presented as a Google doc (at least it's linked), in which she, much to her distress, I'm sure, found that there weren't enough actual crimes committed by white people against asian people, so she came up with a new metric.

Huge surprise, I realize. Now mean words, and even non-words ("shunning") form the bulk of the "hate crimes" directed against asians.

This is actually a positive finding. There is so little "anti-asian hate" in the US that an agenda-driven researcher is forced to manufacture it, the demand far exceeding the supply.

Oh wait the very woke, far left, Dem voting, Trump hating white people.
However, almost all the anti Asian violent attacks are coming from black folks.

Actually, my take away is that in the writer’s mind there is a more serious “Asian Hate” than that evidenced by violence actually committed against Asian persons by others (in this case some black people).

I’m left to wonder in this era of demanding that all bow down to the ChiComs if opposition to COMMUNISTS rather than anything race based isn’t at the root of this Asian Hate that isn’t lightly dismissed by the writer. That while “hate crimes” against persons are taken seriously they may nevertheless be left unconsidered if critical dispersions of a favored ideology are cast.

This, if the case, would really be of a piece with the Left’s inability to accept that ideas and, well to be blunt, sin can be hated without hating people … so to be against the ChiComs is to hate the “Chinese”.
