According to a thread on his Twitter account Saturday, West is experiencing "a low grade fever and light body aches." He has canceled in-person events out of concern for public safety "until receiving an all-clear indication."
In addition to Ivermectin, which has been widely dismissed by health experts as a COVID-19 treatment, West is also taking hydroxychloroquine. Although his wife, Angela West, has been vaccinated against the virus, he has not, according to the tweets.
"Dr. Angela West received the vaccine. LTC West did not. LTC West has publicly stated he supports individual choice and this is reflected in his own family," the tweets read.
West previously served as an Army lieutenant colonel until 2003 after serving in combat in both Iraq wars. He also served as a U.S. congressman in Florida in 2010 before losing to Democrat Patrick Murphy in 2012 and eventually moving to Texas.
He announced his candidacy in July, joining several other candidates hoping to unseat Abbott. He said his opposition to the Green New Deal and his desire to go after banks and finances behind illegal immigration are among his top reasons for running.
He has opposed vaccine and mask mandates throughout his campaign, slamming vaccine requirements in the military while speaking on WBAP in August.
"If you're trying to order people to take a shot that you don't feel comfortable with, that's not an ethical order. That's not a moral order," he said.

Exactly. Woild,like to know that myself. We have th3 vet stuff, but I’d much much rather have the human form, and not from overseas pharmacy where you don’t know what happens to it when it’s made, handled, and shipped.
It is medical malpractice to be denying folks the use of it when there is so much evidence that it works now. There are places here you can get it through telehealth, but it’s very expensive. Ivermectin and hcq are both normally very cheap, but you are gonna pay through the nose for it throug n the telehealth places.
That would be the correct headline.

Many Texans are taking and have been taking Ivermectin as a preventive as well as the “weaponized” hydroxychloroquine. Both are cheap but discouraged by the fatuous Anthony Fauci whose pronouncements about the cheap drugs, probably lost many lives.
Yeah, that is why whole nations are taking a drug that “does not work.”

Similar situation happened with a good friend of mine, and her family. One infected ‘vax’d member proceeded to infect several other ‘vax’d, as well as a couple of un ‘vax’d. The unjabbed ended up taking care of the ‘vax’d.

That happened to a neighbor of mine.
Got the shot, sick two days later, tested negative twice, in hospital 5 days after that.
She had pneumonia but recovered and is ok now.
Was in hospital a total of 10-12 days; they gave her nose/mask O2 and antibiotics.

I watched an old episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies" where granny Clampett claimed to have a cure for the common cold made out of an assortment of grotesque ingredients. All you had to was take the stuff daily and in seven to ten days, you would be cured.

This is likely going to be a very dark winter. The soon coming cold and flu season is going to trigger one of the most divisive times in our nation as battle lines are being drawn of ‘vaccinated’ vs unvaccinated.
FL was one of the targeted states. Gov. Desantis contracted with a company that manufactures monoclonal antibodies to bypass the Feds (smart move, Governor!). The story I saw said FL contracted for 3,000 doses, but I’ll bet they contracted for many more after that initial story, if as you say, it’s still widely available.
She won't get any good therapeutics from most doctors but probably be sent home and told "Take Tylenol, and come back if your lips turn blue". If she ends up in a hospital and on a ventilator, she's most likely a goner. For sure they won't give her any Ivermectin in the hospital. They would rather she dies. That way, there is more money in it for their bottom line.
It is CDC "Protocols", you know. No liability and lots of cash if the hospitals follow them. None if you stay home and get better.
