According to a thread on his Twitter account Saturday, West is experiencing "a low grade fever and light body aches." He has canceled in-person events out of concern for public safety "until receiving an all-clear indication."
In addition to Ivermectin, which has been widely dismissed by health experts as a COVID-19 treatment, West is also taking hydroxychloroquine. Although his wife, Angela West, has been vaccinated against the virus, he has not, according to the tweets.
"Dr. Angela West received the vaccine. LTC West did not. LTC West has publicly stated he supports individual choice and this is reflected in his own family," the tweets read.
West previously served as an Army lieutenant colonel until 2003 after serving in combat in both Iraq wars. He also served as a U.S. congressman in Florida in 2010 before losing to Democrat Patrick Murphy in 2012 and eventually moving to Texas.
He announced his candidacy in July, joining several other candidates hoping to unseat Abbott. He said his opposition to the Green New Deal and his desire to go after banks and finances behind illegal immigration are among his top reasons for running.
He has opposed vaccine and mask mandates throughout his campaign, slamming vaccine requirements in the military while speaking on WBAP in August.
"If you're trying to order people to take a shot that you don't feel comfortable with, that's not an ethical order. That's not a moral order," he said.

Emory University has a very prestigious medical school. The Dean of Emory Medical School has Indian heritage, and co-wrote an article in the Times of India advocating using Ivermectin against Covid, among other things. This has gotten =ZERO= coverage in US media, including his hometown paper, the AJC, and his hometown news network, CNN.
Try to convince me that isn’t newsworthy - both his original article and the non-coverage of it by US media.

Love him! Pray to God it helps him/them and they both recover. Does anyone else wonder why never hear of any prominent people of the left getting Covid and/or dying? I find that curious and logically the odds are they would be affected at least at same rate as ones we hear about who are conservative. Correct me if I’m wrong. It just seems ‘off’

The FR urban legend is the drugs he is now taking need taken prior to virus contraction to prevent problems.
Yes! We got that for him too, days later, as an added protection since he qualified because of his co-morbidities and his recent positive test. The nurses say it wipes out covid in two hours. I think they said you must get it within 10 days for it to be effective.
You have to “qualify” since the Feds have been trying to ration the supply.
What’s not been said is when she got the shots and her symptoms, if any.
Why is this news. It’s a dog bites man story. What about what he has done differs from what any other wise individual would do to preserve or restore their health in such a situation?

Not in Florida. You can just go get it, I think that’s primarily how they killed what was a high death rate until recently.

I have successfully ordered Ivermectin and HCQ from two jobbers in India. Prices are fair, shipping takes about two weeks.
I’ve also bought the Ivr “horse paste” from Tractor Supply. Have been taking a 250lb dose once a week for the last 12 weeks. No problems.
