*** What this “government by press release” also allows is for Republicans like Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb to complain about Biden’s tyranny while using zip, nada, zilch of their elected authority to stop it. Holcomb has used the same executive rule-by-decree throughout the lockdown era without effective restraint by a supermajority-Republican state legislature, even telling the press churches were required to deliver Christ’s Body and Blood his way while quietly keeping that part out of his executive orders, surely because government dictating religious exercise is obviously unconstitutional and would quickly have generated lawsuits.***

I’m glad the author mentioned my lame governor, Eric Holcomb. He’s a jerk. Though I’m glad he finally let our mask mandate stop in April and so far hasn’t reinstated it. Most Hoosiers I see want nothing to do with those damn face diapers any more.

"I’m glad the author mentioned my lame governor, Eric Holcomb. He’s a jerk"

Actually, Joy Pullmyotherleg's attack was gratuitous, facetious, and non-sensical.

The attempt of her 'piece' is that Xiden hasn't actually issued any "vaccine mandate" "rule" yet, or even sent a "rule" to OSHA to be deliberated.

She admits this has hamstrung conservative AG's up front, purposefully:

"That’s why nearly two dozen Republican attorneys general who have publicly voiced their opposition to the clearly unconstitutional and illegal mandate haven’t yet filed suit against it, the Office of the Indiana Attorney General confirmed for me. There is no mandate to haul into court. And that may be part of the plan."

13 grafs later, Joyless has completely forgotten the key assertion of her 'piece' and thus, this next graf is completely and utterly gratuitous:

" What this “government by press release” also allows is for Republicans like Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb to complain about Biden’s tyranny while using zip, nada, zilch of their elected authority to stop it."

So she would have a Governor stop a rule that doesn't exist, as she freely admits. Not particularly clever. Furthermore, the link Pullthislegitplaysjinglebells offers contains the exact quote that formed her lede!

"Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, a Republican, said he is preparing for potential legal action. “My team and I, along with other like-minded attorneys general, are reviewing all legal action on how to stand against these authoritarian actions by the Biden administration,” Rokita said. “We will be prepared to file suit if Biden seeks illegal actions restricting Hoosiers' liberties."

I live in Indiana and a really can’t believe this butt munch go re-elected. We have a super majority in both the house and senate, yet they won’t pass a bill making mandates illegal. Hell they won’t even allow the sale of cold beer unless you get it from a liquor store.
