Yes Facebook is a pain.
But I LOVE Facebook in terms of keeping up with what my family and friends are doing all over the country.
Plus I can’t play any games on my computer but the games do work on my Ipad via Itunes.
It’s been down now for two hours.
This is no coincidence.
My family would never use GAB or Parler although these are perfectly fine substitutes.
But if no one tells me what’s going on their lives, provides me pictures of events, etc., etc.,.....what fun is that?
Yeah, I’m permanently banned from Facebook and have no more contact with many friends anymore.
I don’t know what my crime was ... all they said is I’m not compatible with their Community Standards. I think truth is not allowed on there.
Family may be more inclined to other tech, as FB/Inst/Whats are done for day after day, as I suspect and hope is the case.
IMHO, Telegram is the way to go.
Me too.....I live in the US but have many friends in Europe. Facebook is a good way to keep in touch.
I only have facebook to talk to family members/few friends who have it) and of course, the facebook husky forum..other than that its worthless to me..rumors are that hackers got hold of everyone’s personal info from facebook and trading it online..phone numbers, names, etc..eh, for me, I get enough spam calls throughout the day on my cell phone a few more wont make a difference

I’m hoping that eventually FB will be seized from Mark Zuckerburg and turned over to some good guys to run that won’t be spying on and censoring everybody. It would be shame for those who enjoy keeping up with family and friends have it jerked out from under them after all of these years. It’s a lot of fun!

If I do not have a good enough relationship where I talk to you in person or on the phone regularly, then I don’t need to worry about what you’re doing on your FB page.
