Rockefellers have a message for Joe Manchin
CNN Fake News ^ | 30 September 2021 | John D. Rockefeller V, Justin Rockefeller and Valerie Rockefeller

Posted on 10/01/2021 4:23:48 AM PDT by Magnatron

We were raised in coal country, about two hours south of Sen. Joe Manchin's hometown, with a commitment to public service. Like Sen. Manchin, our father, five-term Sen. Jay Rockefeller... …And like Sen. Manchin, our father, who is now retired, has deep respect for the state's legacy of hard work and grit.

Manchin has served our state well. He is a caring and determined leader who we've been honored to know as our father's colleague and friend. Unfortunately, when it comes to our state's future (whether it's the jobs West Virginians will hold or the energy they'll consume), Manchin is sticking with a problematic past by opposing the Senate's $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill. Only by supporting that bill can Manchin lead West Virginia boldly into the clean-energy future that will help the people he has been elected to serve.

Manchin could be the deciding vote on the reconciliation bill that would help fund infrastructure projects and a wide array of social programs. The senator expressed his concerns about the bill's price tag in a Wall Street Journal op-ed, yet failed to acknowledge that delaying the reconciliation bill and jeopardizing the infrastructure bill is a dangerous move that could end up costing the entire country, as well as the people of West Virginia.

He also failed to acknowledge the bill can be financed in large part by reversing the 2017 corporate tax cuts the senator himself voted against —but now refuses to raise to the rate called for in the bill, opting instead for a middle ground. By holding up the reconciliation bill, the senator is jeopardizing funds necessary to uplift West Virginia's economic outlook and resilience at a time when the state is grappling with the country's lowest life expectancy and one of its highest poverty rates .

Manchin has to run from being a Romney, Rockellefeller Republican and he knows it.

Back in the day, the Rockefellers used to own one of the U.S. Senate seats from West Virginia.

Who knows what they are telling Manchin privately. I suspect he’ll change his vote now.

A bunch of liberal trust fund babies.

They talk like they worked in the coal mines. Sure they did.

Those corporate tax cuts under Trump made America competitive with the rest of the world and played a major role in the Trump economic boom.

John D. Rockefeller the first must be spinning in his grave.

In an attempt to eliminate fossil fuels, this legislation would impose a “fee” on all methane emissions, including in our agriculture industry. We all know that a fee is just a tax and that consumers are the ones who will pay for it. The tax is estimated to cost $6,500 per dairy cow, $2,600 per head of cattle, and $500 per swine each year. That is more than what the animals are worth, it’ll run ranchers out of business.

Democrats are touting that this bill has $200 billion of federal spending for “free” universal preschool and community college. What the Democrats aren’t promoting is that states will be required to foot 50 percent of the cost once this measure is up and running. This is the same for free community college provisions. States will be required to foot 25 percent of the two years free of community college costs as well. Nothing is ever free. The state of Oklahoma will pay for this bill too, not just Washington.

The Biden Administration argues new Internal Revenue Service (IRS) provisions in the bill will narrow the tax-gap, but it’s just a gross example of federal overreach. The IRS would require banks to report transaction data for any account with at least $600 of cash in or out annually, violating the privacy of what Americans do with their money.

I'm sure there's much more in this monstrosity for ringing in the New World Order. You'll own nothing and be happy. Cattle, dairy and pig farmers sure won't own anything. How many people will die in this Great Reset to global totalitarianism? The Rockefellers are long time eugenicists. Bill Gates is their protege.

John Maynard Keynes, the economic policy god these Leftist worship, would tell them their plan to spend %5.5 trillion with inflation raging out of control is an act of pure madness.

I don’t know. Pretty hard to call it an “act of fiscal insanity” on Wed and vote for it on Friday.

Manchin made a sound economic argument why the $3.5 is way too much spending with inflation out of control. As hard as he dug his rhetorical heels in, I cannot think of anything they might offer him to change his position

I think this one time a DC Democrat is actually putting principals in front of Party.

OMG this is outrageously hypocritical.

ANY Rockefeller implying they were born in average circumstances or had lowly or hardscrabble roots is just pure lies. It would be like Bill Gates' daughter claiming they were born a coal miner's daughter.
