You can use the Corning Visions on those stoves. I do on my Virginia-made England stove. The Corning isn't sold anymore since mistreating it can make it explode. The lawyers probably stopped them from making it.

Anyway, just make sure you always heat the pots or pans with food in them. Don;t overheat. Always cool slowly. I have cracked a few but I buy more at the flea market.

I’m thinking cast iron is probably best - even though it’s difficult to care for.
