If a European says America is full of racists ask him if he'd let his daughter marry a gypsy. It sends them into conniptions.

Let’s see, things that terrify me....
Nope, guns and mass shooting are not on the list.

“Joel, Lynne, Paige and Joshua (44, 43 and 11) live in Austin, Texas. The weapons you see in the photo are only 80% of their entire collection. GABRIELE GALIMBERTI
REPORT - More than a constitutional right, they represent an important fragment of the culture of a country which, year after year, suffers a terrifying number of mass shootings. Photographer Gabriele Galimberti set out to meet these gun enthusiasts.
“It was 2:04 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 when a police patrol in Norfolk, Va. Received the call. “Multiple shots” at 900 Madison Avenue. When they arrived, the officers found no casualties - they were already in the hospital. Four children, wounded by bullets. A 6 year old girl, a 14 year old boy and two 16 year old teenagers. The vital prognosis of the first is engaged; the others, including one shot in the jaw, are miraculously out of danger.

The news item, for which a 15-year-old will be arrested later today, did not make headlines in the United States. One more drop of water in an ocean: In Norfolk, in July alone, a dozen children were killed. Across the United States, for the seventy-two hours of the “4th of July” weekend (the equivalent of our July 14) when this Norfolk shooting took place,”
My comment is, they are conflating our gun culture with the mass shootings, which are typically caused by the criminally insane. Nor do they consider the difference in gun laws between Texas and Virginia, nor the restrictive gun laws in major cities, where the shootings typically take place.
I’m sure others can point out other inconsistencies.

You have not seen the AR steel plate that lines the walls under the sheet rock.
Sorry, Mr. Jolly. No amount of moral preening will make what you say to be true.
Yes, the war that came after the war to end all wars: 1914-1918.
“Hey, Le Figaro, let’s talk about how much “gun violence” took place in Europe between 1939 and 1945, shall we? That’s why Americans insist on being armed. Free people are armed. Victims of “government-sponsored mass murder are not.”
You win this thread, Campion!
His safes probably cost as much as the collection.
When the first European stepped ashore in the NEW WORLD with matchlock in hand and realized there were no Aristocrats, “Lards and Ladies” to grovel before, he declared himself to be a Free Man.
No more “Yes me Lard” or No me Lard.”
We today are in a great struggle to keep that Freedom!
I had an older brother who travelled thru Europe with his college buds after graduating from college in the 90’s. He was asked bout guns in US colleges and jokingly said he saw lots of guns in the dorms and it was mandatory to bring them before going to class. It was only in Switzerland that they didnt get their panties in a twist.
SOMEONE knows what PREPPING means.
I often tell people that MY revolver hasn’t killed as many persons as Ted Kennedy’s Oldsmobile.

The growth of the Criminally Insane is a bigger problem than the gun growth.
