I do not think it is just the vaccine mandates.
There are a lot of very patriotic African Americans who are currently in the US military and veterans.
I suspect many are pissed about the Afghanistan debacle too.

My experience in the blue part of Ohio is that Democrats can’t and or won’t admit that voting for creepy, demented, corrupt Joe could have possibly caused any problems. And while those Democrats may not be happy, it won’t stop them from voting Democrat.
